Newcomer members are always ready for a reason to gather. Below are the social gatherings for each month. There is no specific date for Wine Tasting or Pot Luck so hostesses have greater flexibility to find a day that works best for them.
Wine Social/Potluck – Once a month we have a combined wine social/potluck dinner for our members, spouses, and/or guests. Everyone brings a dish to share and enjoys an opportunity for spouses to get to know one another. Whether you enjoy wine or prefer your favorite Soda or Sweet Tea, you’re always welcome. There is no regularly scheduled date to give hostesses greater flexibility for scheduling–check the calendar for time and date.
Girls’ Night Out – We meet on the last Monday of the month at a local restaurant for dinner. This gives another opportunity to get to know other members better. What better way to get to know other Newcomers than to have dinner out. The last Monday of the month is the regularly scheduled day for Girls’ Night Out.
Social Coffee – We meet monthly in the home of one of our members to enjoy an opportunity to chat with other members. No requirement that you drink coffee. The date varies depending on the hostess’ schedule.
Out to Lunch – We’re always looking for another chance to get together. The “Out to Lunch” coordinator seeks out of the way or local spots that serve delicious food. This group meets the third Wednesday at 11:30 am at a local restaurant.
