Newcomer members are always ready for a reason to gather. Below are the social gatherings for each month. There is no specific date for Wine Tasting or Pot Luck so hostesses have greater flexibility to find a day that works best for them.
Potluck Dinner – Once a month we have a potluck dinner for our members, spouses, and/or guests. Everyone brings a dish to share and enjoys an opportunity for spouses to get to know one another. There is no regularly scheduled date so hostesses have greater flexibility find the day that works best for them.
Wine Tasting – This is a favorite event for our members. Whether you enjoy wine or prefer your favorite soda, you’re always welcome to bring an appetizer to share with the group. Bring your spouse and enjoy a fun time. There is no regularly scheduled date so hostesses have greater flexibility find the day that works best for them.
Girls’ Night Out – We meet on the last Monday of the month at a local restaurant for dinner. This gives another opportunity to get to know other members better. What better way to get to know other Newcomers than to have dinner out. The last Monday of the month is the regularly scheduled day for Girls’ Night Out.
Social Coffee – We meet monthly in the home of one of our members to enjoy an opportunity to chat with other members. No requirement that you drink coffee. The date varies depending on the hostess’ schedule.
Out to Lunch – We’re always looking for another chance to get together. The “Out to Lunch” coordinator seeks out of the way or local spots that serve delicious food. This group meets the third Wednesday at 11:30 am at a local restaurant.
